Philosophy

Excitement is a major component of learning. Children should experience excitement in the discovery and exchange of ideas and information. Creativity and self-expression promote self-esteem, which in turn allow children to develop personal resources, a positive sense of identity and a joy of learning.

Education utilizing the Arts encourages whole-brain functioning, cultivates new perspectives and insights, stimulates and motivates the inner person, enhances self-concepts, and develops an aesthetic dimension.  The Arts serve to provide a creative link to our past, present and future culture - both at home and abroad.
