Recycling Program

Recycling follows the laws of nature and leads us on a path to sustainability. It gives the energy and materials put into an item a second life.

Canterbury students at all division levels participate in the recycling program. Together we help our school do less harm to the Earth's natural resources.

We recycle: glass, plastic (no. 1-7), all types of paper and cardboard, aluminum and metal. The school also supports the recycling of printer cartridges with proceeds going to Barbara's Friends cancer research.

Students collect every Wednesday afternoon: Upper School Environmental Club, Middle School volunteers, Sixth Grade volunteers and Third Grade volunteers make up the recycling collection team.
