The Sunset Soirée Extravaganza 2026, presented by Busey Bank, was a memorable evening of celebration, generosity, and Cougar pride. Held on Saturday, January 31, 2026, in Canterbury's Murphy Sports Center, this year's event raised more than $800,000, making it the most successful Extravaganza in school history.
The funds raised through Extravaganza directly support the Canterbury experience, helping to enhance programs, strengthen campus resources, and provide opportunities that benefit students across every division.
A Community United by Cougar Pride
The evening reflected the very best of the Canterbury community. Guests enjoyed an exciting night of fellowship, dining, entertainment, and spirited bidding, all in support of the school's mission.
The event was expertly emceed by Kellie Burns-Garvey and energized by auctioneer Jay Severson, whose enthusiasm kept the room engaged throughout the evening.
