Introduction to Algebra I

INTRODUCTION TO ALGEBRA I

Prerequisite: Successful completion of Pre-Algebra or equivalent. This class is intended for students entering Algebra I in the fall who need a comprehensive review of Pre-Algebra skills and concepts.
Learn the fundamentals of Algebra I through group exploration coupled with individual practice in a small class environment. Concepts include solving multistep equations, simplifying expressions, completing basic word problems, graphing linear equations, and learning the laws of exponents. Students will sharpen mastery of operations with integers, fractions, decimals, and the order of operations.
