The Canterbury School Arts Department would like to shine the spotlight on Ava S. ’26 for this week’s Artist Spotlight.
Ava’s sixth-grade Visual Art class recently studied the artwork of Paul Cezanne, the founder of modern art. “Ava was able to emulate the Cezanne style painting with confidence and attention to detail. The most impressive aspect of Ava's work is her ability to depict a sense of foreground and background space,” shared Mr. Dan Percivall. Congratulations to Ava!
