Sixty-Two Students Inducted into National Honor Society
Canterbury School would like to congratulate 62 of our Upper School students on their induction into the Pinnacle Chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS).
The National Honor Society is a prestigious club. National Honor Society members must be outstanding in service, leadership, character, as well as scholarship. A candidate must have a weighted cumulative grade point average of 4.0 or higher. They must also complete 15 hours of community service in addition to the Canterbury minimum requirement for the school year.
During the induction, National Honor Society leaders invited Dr. Mary Smith, Canterbury's Dean of Academics, to address the audience as the keynote speaker. Dr. Smith shared what she believes "community" means at Canterbury, and how students make or break the class. CLICK HERE to read Dr. Smith's full speech.
Canterbury also held a special ceremony to recognize 11 inductees who had to miss the ceremony due to attending the Florida Thespians State Festival. Please CLICK HERE TO VIEW THE FULL PHOTO GALLERY from the induction on March 8, 2023. Special thanks to Lorelei's Lens for the photography of this event.
Congratulations to all of our newly inducted members!
