Distinguished Scholar Dr. Sam Potolicchio Visits Canterbury

As part of our Leadership Institute for Tomorrow (LIFT), Canterbury School was pleased to welcome back our Distinguished Scholar, Dr. Sam Potolicchio, for a visit with our students and faculty this week.
Dr. Potolicchio is the Director of Global Education at Georgetown University and the Founder of Preparing Global Leaders Foundation. Click here to read more about Dr. Potolicchio.

On Tuesday, Head of School Rick Kirschner lead a question and answer session with Dr. Potolicchio during our Upper School Assembly. Topics ranged from his political predictions for the new year to the book he is currently writing. Dr. Potolicchio offered students advice on communicating effectively, noting that trustworthiness is a more important element than competence when speaking in an interview or to a crowd.

Dr. Potolicchio also encouraged students to consider applying for his one of his leadership programs through the Preparing Global Leaders Forum. Click here for more information.
