Athletes of the Week: March 16-22 + March 23-29, 2026

Congratulations to Isabel C. ’30 and Josh C. ’27 of our Girls and Boys Lacrosse teams on being named this week’s Athletes of the Week! 

Isabel is a hardworking and selfless player who consistently puts her team first. Her high lacrosse IQ allows her to read the field exceptionally well, making smart decisions under pressure and creating opportunities for her teammates. Combined with her relentless grit and determination, she has become a key leader and driving force behind the team’s success.

Whether it’s hustling for ground balls, executing plays, or encouraging others, Isabel leads by example in every aspect of the game. Last week, she delivered an outstanding performance, finishing with 7 goals and 3 assists, showcasing both her scoring ability and her unselfish playmaking.

Head Coach Lexi Helms shared, “Isabel is the kind of player every coach hopes for—selfless, driven, and incredibly smart on the field. Her ability to elevate her teammates while also delivering in big moments makes her such a valuable part of our team.”

Josh was pivotal in helping the Boys Lacrosse team go 3-0 last week against high-caliber opponents. As a faceoff specialist, his role is to secure possession for the team, and he excelled, winning 82% of his faceoffs. He also led the team in ground balls, collecting 27 over the course of the week.

In addition to his dominance at the faceoff X, Josh contributed offensively with a goal and an assist. He is one of the hardest-working players on the team, consistently giving 100% in every game and practice, and his work ethic is clearly paying off.

Head Coach Trent Carter shared, “Josh’s effort and consistency have been incredible to watch. His ability to control possession and battle for every ground ball gives our team a huge advantage, and he sets the tone with his work ethic every single day.”
