Canterbury Musicians Perform at USF’s Festival of Winds

Six talented Canterbury student-musicians, Caroline L. ’26, Braden B. ’27, Sam T. ’26, Sophia B. ’26, Grace P. ’27, and Kevin L. ’28, were selected to participate in the University of South Florida’s prestigious Festival of Winds, held December 4–7, 2025. The festival brought together many of the top high school musicians from across Florida to perform in three elite concert bands, each comprising approximately 100 students.

With no prior access to their music, our students had just three days to rehearse and prepare a demanding program for their culminating concert. In addition to intensive rehearsals, they participated in instrument-specific masterclasses, enjoyed performances by the USF Wind Symphony and Herd of Thunder Marching Band, and experienced a meaningful glimpse of life as a collegiate music student at USF.

Congratulations to these outstanding musicians for representing Canterbury with such skill, dedication, and professionalism.
