The evening honored 17 remarkable seniors who began their Canterbury journey in Kindergarten or earlier. Surrounded by their families, teachers, school leaders, and classmates, these Lifers were recognized for the meaningful milestone of growing up as part of the Canterbury community.

Director of Alumni Relations Julie Pearson welcomed guests and reflected on the special bond these students share with the school. For more than a decade, Canterbury has been a place where they have learned, explored, competed, performed, and discovered who they are. Head of School Rick Kirschner also offered remarks celebrating the Lifers and recognizing the significance of their Canterbury journey.

A highlight of the evening was a fun photo slideshow that traced the students’ journey through the years, from their earliest days on campus to their senior year. Guests also viewed a special video featuring interviews with each Lifer, who shared favorite Canterbury memories, reflected on teachers who made a lasting impact, explained what makes Canterbury special to them, and offered heartfelt thanks to their parents for making their Canterbury education possible.

The evening also served as a meaningful moment of gratitude for the families who have supported these students throughout their time at Canterbury. Their commitment, partnership, and trust have helped make this journey possible.

As these seniors prepare to graduate, their connection to Canterbury continues. On May 23, they will become Canterbury alumni, carrying with them the values and relationships formed during their years on campus.

Congratulations to our Class of 2026 Lifers. Your Canterbury story is one to celebrate, and we look forward to seeing all that you do next!
