Kindergarten students recently enjoyed a day full of imagination, movement, and literacy during a fun-filled Reading Rodeo celebration. The classroom transformed into a desert campsite, setting the scene for a series of engaging, hands-on activities designed to build reading skills and spark creativity.
Throughout the day, students rotated through themed stations, completing crossword puzzles, racing their “ponies,” practicing lasso-ing, and playing horseshoes. Each activity encouraged problem-solving, coordination, and teamwork while keeping learning playful and exciting.

The rodeo wrapped up with a cozy movie time by the “campfire,” where students enjoyed trail mix they made themselves - just like real campers in the desert.
The Kindergarten Reading Rodeo was a wonderful blend of literacy, imagination, and fun, creating lasting memories while reinforcing a love of reading. 📚🤠
