Lower School Assembly Kicks Off Annual Marathon

Lower School Assembly Kicks Off Annual Marathon

Canterbury’s Lower School gathered for a special Assembly on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, to launch our annual Marathon, a treasured school tradition in which students run and walk to raise money for worthy causes.

This year, Marathon donations will benefit the American Heart Association and Breakthrough T1D. During the Assembly, a representative from the American Heart Association helped students learn about heart health and the organization’s mission. Canterbury School Nurse Rachel Dicus also spoke with students about Type 1 diabetes and how she supports our students with T1D at Canterbury.
