Pre-K3 and Fourth Graders Celebrate the Season Through Spanish Holiday Caroling

Holiday cheer and music echoed through the Lower School as our Pre-K3 and fourth-grade students came together for a special Spanish holiday caroling tradition. Traveling classroom to classroom, students shared a festive Spanish song they’ve been practicing as part of their Lower School Spanish curriculum.

Pre-K3 and Fourth Grade Caroling

For our Pre-K3 students, this marks an exciting milestone. They have recently been introduced to the holiday song and are eager to show off what they’ve learned - singing with a little extra confidence thanks to the support of their fourth-grade “pros.” The fourth graders know the song well, having sung it themselves since their own Pre-K days, and are proud to help guide the youngest Cougars.

This meaningful moment serves as both a beginning and an ending: a joyful introduction for our youngest students and a symbolic closing chapter for fourth graders as they prepare to move on to Middle School. It’s a full-circle tradition that highlights growth, continuity, and the shared experiences that make the Canterbury community so special.

Through music, language, and togetherness, students of all ages celebrated the season - and the journey they share at Canterbury. 🎶 ✨
