Seventh-Grade Students Embark on Pathfinder Adventure at Cedarkirk

The Class of 2031 recently returned from an unforgettable three-day Pathfinder Trip to Cedarkirk Camp in Lithia, Florida, a signature Canterbury experience designed to help students grow, connect, and challenge themselves in new ways.

From November 19–21, our seventh graders stepped outside the classroom and into hands-on learning as they rotated through a variety of group and individual activities, including a challenge course, high ropes elements, team-building games, and a canoe trip along the Alafia River. Each experience encouraged students to stretch their comfort zones while supporting one another.

The Pathfinder Trip is built around key learning goals: building self-confidence, developing a deeper appreciation for peers, recognizing the importance of teamwork and problem-solving, fostering trust and mutual respect, and strengthening students’ connection to the natural world.

Throughout the week, the Class of 2031 rose to every challenge with enthusiasm, resilience, and a sense of adventure, creating lasting memories and stronger bonds with their classmates.
