Spotlight on the Arts: Cougar Vision Finds Its Voice

There is plenty of excitement on the field during a Canterbury football game, but some of the energy is coming from behind the microphone.

This young Cougar Vision broadcasting team delivered an impressive performance during one of the first football games of the season, bringing enthusiasm and personality to Canterbury’s victory over Sarasota Christian Academy.

For Evan D. ’32, Carina F. ’32, Gabriel L. ’32, and Michael O. ’32, the broadcast marked another step in a journey that began when they were sixth graders. Now in seventh grade, they are continuing to develop their skills in live sports production and on-air commentary. Leading the team is senior Lillian H. ’27, Cougar Vision’s lead broadcaster, who helps guide the younger students as they gain experience behind the scenes and on the air.

Their work is part of the creative storytelling happening every day at Canterbury, allowing students to find their voices, build confidence, and experience the excitement of producing a live broadcast.
