Students Bring Holiday Cheer to Hospital Rooms through The Greyson Project

This season, members of Canterbury’s Rotary Interact Club and Sunshine Club joined forces to brighten the holidays for children who will spend this special time of year in the hospital. Partnering with The Greyson Project of Fort Myers, the students collected festive supplies to transform hospital rooms into cheerful, comforting spaces.

The Greyson Project provides decorations that help families create a more joyful environment during what can be a very difficult and uncertain time. Inspired by that mission, Canterbury students organized a schoolwide drive to gather themed items such as garlands, window clings, ornaments, and small décor pieces.

Thanks to their efforts, our clubs collected enough supplies to decorate 30 hospital rooms with both Christmas and Hanukkah themes. Each decorated room will serve as a small reminder that the community is thinking of these children and their families, offering warmth, hope, and holiday spirit when it is needed most.
