School Health Screenings
The Lee County Health Department cooperates with private schools in Lee County to provide health screening (as listed below) in each school. In cases in which possible health problems are identified, parents are notified and requested to seek medical advice. Screening tests are not diagnostic but point to the need for further medical evaluation. No treatment is administered as part of the program in the schools. The program involves screening for potential problems only.
The screenings will take place on Wednesday, January 11, 2023.
The Health Screening Program involves the following:
- Vision and Hearing Screening for Grades Pre-K3, Pre-K4, K, 1, 3, 6
- Scoliosis Screening for Grade 6
