Jazz Ensemble Earns Excellent Rating at State
Congratulations to Canterbury’s Jazz Ensemble on a wonderful performance on Thursday, March 21, 2019, at the Florida Bandmasters Association State Jazz Ensemble Music Performance Assessment.
“The Jazz Ensemble delivered a solid presentation on stage and had a terrific clinic with the adjudicators being praised by their talent and style,” shared Antonio Castillo, Canterbury’s Band Director. The Jazz Ensemble earned an Excellent rating.
Our pianists, Jacob T. ’21 and Isaiah A. ’22, performed with great musicality and expression earning the highest possible award at States, receiving their medals for Superior with Distinction ratings.
