Canterbury Students Perform Well at HOSA State Conference

More than two dozen of our Upper School students enjoyed a chance to showcase their knowledge in health sciences at the HOSA (Health Occupation Students of America) State Leadership Conference.
The event took place on March 28-30, 2019, in Orlando. HOSA competitive events are designed to bring health career education to life through rigorous testing of knowledge performance, skill, and leadership capabilities.

Emily D. ’21 won fourth place in the category of Sports Medicine. Jay C. ’21  won first place for his performance serving as a member of Courtesy Corps. Alyssa D. ’19 won first place in the category of Physical Therapy. Both Jay and Alyssa also qualify for the HOSA International Leadership Conference in June.

This is Canterbury’s second year participating in the HOSA State Leadership Conference.
