Canterbury Artists Win Awards in Coloring the Earth Art Contest

We would like to recognize the following students for winning at the 14th Annual Coloring the Earth Art Contest sponsored by the Cape Coral Public Library and the Friends of Cape Coral Library.
The theme of this year’s contest was “Save the Bees!” To enter the contest, students had to create an original painting or drawing that shows how we can protect this precious species from bee-killing pesticides, habitat loss, air pollution, and other main threats.

We had six winners from Canterbury in different age categories! Their artwork will be displayed at the Cape Coral Library through June 29, and will also be showcased in the Cape Coral edition of The News-Press this weekend. Congratulations!
