Before Dorian could soak the XC course, the Canterbury XC teams competed at the DDD Sommer Invitational on Saturday morning. Jessica Edwards took first place in the varsity 5000M event and led the girls team to an 8th place finish. The boys team was led by Andrew McCallion in his first race of the season. The boys team placed 24th. With the holiday weekend, many key runners on the team did not race.
