Major Bongioanni Presents Flag to Canterbury School

Canterbury School would like to give a special thank you to Major Roberto E. Bongioanni of the United States Marine Corps. He is the father of Lucas ’27 and Connor ’31.
Our Community Service & Kindness Club in our Lower School wrote letters to Major Bongioanni while he was stationed overseas. In recognition of our students’ thoughtfulness, he presented our school with this American Flag that was flown over the Joint Training Center in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan during Operation Inherent Resolve on July 4, 2019. The flag along with the certificate now hangs proudly on Canterbury’s Wall of Honor in our Lower School hallway.
