Canterbury Students Shine at Thespian Competitions
The first week of December was a busy but rewarding one for our Canterbury Thespian Troupe 5782.
On Thursday, December 5, a group of 16 students traveled to St. Petersburg to compete in the One-Act Festival. They performed a very challenging show called “An Experiment” and received a high Excellent rating.
On Saturday, December 7, we had 39 students then take off for Boca Raton to compete in the District 10 Individual Events. They received 24 Superior ratings, eight Excellent, and one Good rating, as well as one Best in Room. “What a wonderful showing for our students, I couldn’t be more proud of all of them,” shared Mr. Jackson, Canterbury’s Theatre Arts Teacher.
