Canterbury Students Compete in Florida Statewide Chinese Competition

Congratulations to our Middle and Upper School Chinese students on an excellent performance at the 2020 Florida Statewide Chinese Competition (FSCC).
This annual event took place at Lake Yale Conference Center in Leesburg on January 31 and February 1, 2020. Our students proudly took home second place in the Impromptu Performance, a skit performed all in Chinese. Two other special moments at the competition included Lauren L. ’23 singing the Chinese song “Jasmine” at the Opening Ceremony and Victor A. ’25 playing Kōngzhú (Chinese yo-yo) - throwing and catching it 11 times!
