Canterbury Teams Win First Place in Odyssey of the Mind Tournament

Congratulations to our two Odyssey of the Mind teams for their performance in the 2020 Sun Region Tournament on Saturday, February 29, at South Fort Myers High School. We are excited to share that both of our teams earned first place and will be moving on to the State Tournament in Orlando on April 11.
Odyssey of the Mind is an international creative problem-solving competition for students of all ages. It encourages students to use their imaginations and work together in school teams to solve various challenges. Each team has advisors or parent volunteer coaches to help manage the team and prepare for the competition. However, the students make all the decisions regarding costumes, props, and their approach to solving and performing the problems.

Both teams will be sharing their performances with our Lower School community at our Lower School Assembly on Thursday, April 2, at 1:30 p.m. in our Performing Arts Center. Also, special thanks to our parent volunteers who spent many hours helping our students prepare for the tournament.
