Canterbury Holds Ribbon Cutting for New Sensory Path

Canterbury School’s new Sensory Path is open and ready for business!
On August 21, Ms. Evonne Clapper held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Mrs. Hall’s fourth-grade class. The Sensory Path was created for our students to use movement and poses to reset their bodies and minds when they are having a big feeling, they feel stuck or unfocused, or when they need to change their energy level.

Ms. Clapper explained to the class how she developed the idea for the path and thanked those who helped her conceptualize, design, and paint the project. After the white ribbon was cut, the students were eager to try it out. Even with social-distancing, they were able to play on through the path multiple times and explore each activity. We cannot wait to see more of our young Cougars use this amazing path!
