Athlete of the Week - November 2 - 8, 2020

Advancing to the FHSAA Cross Country State Meet was an even more difficult feat than usual in the circumstances of 2020. The number of qualifying spots was cut by half, and someone would need to run a nearly perfect race to qualify as an individual. However, Coach Charlotte Edwards proudly told us, “Charlie did just that as he competed in the 1A Region 3 meet at Holloway Park against some of the best runners in the state of Florida. In a time of 17:45, Charlie placed 12th overall to secure one of the four coveted spots. Charlie was also honored with a Top 15 medal and will race at the state meet!” Way to go, Charlie!
