The Artist Spotlight: All-State Musicians

The Canterbury Arts Department would like to shine the spotlight on Travis H. ’25, Daniel B. ’21, and Arabella L. ’21!  All three musicians auditioned and were selected to represent Canterbury at All-State, the annual concert and orchestra conference by the Florida Music Educators Association.
Our youngest musician, Travis H. ’25, is a trombone player in our eighth grade and one of our previous Artist Spotlights this year. He will be playing in the Middle School All-State Honor Band. Daniel B. ’21 is a senior who plays alto saxophone, and he will be playing in the High School All-State Honor Band. Arabella L. ’21 is a viola player, and she will be going back to High School All-State Honors Orchestra for the second year in a row.

Band director Mr. Zachary Deeter said, “These three students will be representing Canterbury at the state level through their exceptional musical performance, and we know that they will make us proud! If you see them in person or over Zoom, please congratulate them!” We are incredibly proud that these three musicians will be representing Canterbury at three of the All-State Honors groups.
