Fourth Annual Cougar Tennis Open a Great Success!
Canterbury’s fourth annual Cougar Tennis Open was a great success! The event took place on January 30, 2021, at Canterbury’s Tennis Courts. This year’s event was named in honor of the late Mr. Codrin Cojanu, an avid tennis player and supporter of Canterbury’s tennis program.
There were 20 pairs of players vying to win the title of Champion. The winners of the tournament were Jason Moon ’97 and Asher M. ’30 with Jay C. ’21 and Suresh Chavakula coming in second place. The Most Stylish Player was Connie Rosellini once again! The Best Serve winners were Dylan M. ’25 and Nelson Aguedo. The Fastest Feet on the Court was Max B. ’23. Most Sportsmanship was given to Dylan M. ’25 and Brock C. ’27, and Most Spirit was given to Caid C. ’28.
Congratulations to all our winners and thank you to everyone who came out to play and all who came to cheer on the teams.
