Move over, Ms. Frizzle!
Step aside, Ms. Frizzle; there is a new science teacher in town! Lucy C. ’29 was our Lower School Science teacher for the day on February 25, 2021. She had the opportunity to teach three classes alongside Mrs. Einstein. Lucy’s parents successfully bid on this great experience during our silent auction at a past Extravaganza.
Throughout the morning, Lucy taught three different science classes: a second-grade group and two kindergarten groups. “The kindergarteners needed way more help,” said Lucy. “I was running around trying to help so many kids at once!”
For Lucy, who loves science, this opportunity was a dream come true. “Science is my favorite class, and Mrs. Einstein is really great. She’s even giving me an old microscope that I can use at home!”
