DECA Students Wow in Virtual Competition

Congratulations to several of our Upper School students on their outstanding performances at the 61st Annual Florida DECA Career Development Conference. The event took place virtually in early March 2021.
DECA, which stands for Distributive Education Clubs of America, aims to enhance the co-curricular education of students with interests in marketing, management, and entrepreneurship. Click here to learn more about DECA.
 
Sofija V. ’23 earned third place in the individual event of Principles of Finance. Geneva P. ’23 also won third place for the individual event of Principles of Marketing. Kenny K. ’22 earned fourth place in the individual event of Principles of Business Administration. Chase A. ’23 also won fourth place in the individual event of Principles of Finance. Emily D. ’21 earned fifth place in the individual event of Principles of Marketing. 
 
DECA advisor, Mr. Kean, praised, “These results are incredible and I am so proud of our team. When you see these students around the school, please offer them congratulations.” Go Cougars!
