The Artist Spotlight: Adrian S. ’25
The Canterbury Arts Department would like to shine the spotlight on Adrian S. ’25!
Adrian is a thoughtful eighth-grade student in Mr. Percivall’s Visual Art class. Recently, the class has discussed work-life balance and focus, as achieving a “flow state of mind” while creating. While it takes time and patience to reach this state, Mr. P explained that dedicating energy to a project helps tasks move in a meaningful and effective way.
Mr. P. shared, “Adrian shows here his answer to the theme ‘Balance’, a composition that took only twenty minutes. Adrian was not focused on perfection, but more focused on being fluid and open to the idea of balance. With confidence and focus, Adrian achieved perfection.” What a great display of skill, Adrian!
