Canterbury’s Marathon Raises $14,000 for Local Causes

On Tuesday, May 25, 2021, Canterbury School Lower School students, faculty, and staff showcased their commitment to service during a special check presentation for their 37th Annual Marathon.
Marathon is a Canterbury tradition in which Lower School students run and walk to raise money for worthy causes. Canterbury selected The Heights Foundation and the American Heart to receive funds from the annual event. We are thankful to these organizations for working with us to educate our students about the great work they do in our community.

On Friday, March 26, students in the Lower School headed out to our track and racked up dozens of laps. Through their efforts, we are proud to announce that the Canterbury community raised a total of $14,812! Each charity will receive a donation of $7,406.

Canterbury School would like to send a special thank you to all who helped organize this great event.
