Kindergarten Churns Apples into Applesauce
On Tuesday, Mrs. Christensen and Mrs. Ferraro's Kindergarten classes put their cooking skills to the test by coming together to make homemade applesauce.
The classes have been learning about the life cycle of apples over the past several weeks and it culminated with a fun, hands-on learning experience that has been a Canterbury tradition for more than two decades!
What a fun way to learn about one of the many uses of apples! Not to mention, a fun way to kick off Fall. A big 'Thank You' to all the parent volunteers for their help in making this a fun event for the kids.
