Artist Spotlight: Kindergarten Art Class
The Canterbury Arts Department would like to shine a spotlight on our Kindergarten art students.
Both classes (Christensen and Ferraro) have been working on art history and creating artwork inspired by famous artists. They learned about the Dutch painter and art theoretician, Piet Mondrian (1872-1944), and are working on creating their own version of Mondrian’s abstract geometric designs.
They learned about primary, secondary, and neutral colors and are using them to make their own little masterpieces. Mrs. Singh is so proud of all the hard work they are putting into this project as they work carefully with their little hands to finish each unique piece.
