Athlete of the Week: November 29- December 5
Congratulations to varsity boys basketball player Kendahl J. '22 on being selected as our Athlete of the Week for the week of November 29- December 5, 2021.
Kendahl was instrumental in helping the Cougars go 2-0 on the road last week, defeating rival Bishop Verot and Gateway Charter High school. He recorded 28 points, 11 steals, 12 rebounds, and six assists on the week.
At Bishop Verot last Tuesday, November 30, Kendahl notched 14 points, seven steals and six rebounds to lead Canterbury to a 10-point victory over the Vikings. On Friday at Gateway he, along with Justin H. '24 and Leroy R. '24, helped fuel an incredible comeback, bringing the Cougars back from 17 down in the third quarter to defeat the Griffins 63-53. Kendahl finished the game with 14 points, six rebounds, four steals, and four assists.
"Kendahl has been a key to our team's success this season, especially last week," said head coach Mike Hibbs. "He left it all out on the court for us."
