Athlete of the Week: December 6-12, 2021
Congratulations to varsity girls basketball player Kaya L. '25 on being selected as our Athlete of the Week for the week of December 6-12, 2021.
The freshman had dominant performances last week against North Fort Myers High School and Ida Baker High School, scoring 44 points on the week as she helped lead the Cougars to consecutive victories.
"These were two big wins for our program," said head coach Elisha Murray. "As a freshman, she has embraced a huge role for our team as a lead guard. I'm looking forward how she will continue to grow and develop throughout the remainder of the season."
Kaya put up 25 points in the win over North Fort Myers and turned around and recorded 19 points against Ida Baker.
