Athlete of the Week: January 10-16, 2022
Congratulations to varsity boys basketball player Vasilij (Vaso) S. '23 on being selected as our Athlete of the Week for the week of January 10-16, 2022.
Vaso appeared in two games on the week, including a three-point win over Barron Collier 48-45 on January 11.
"I was proud of the way Vaso stepped up in the Barron Collier game," said Coach Hibbs. "It was a true team effort that night and he was crucial to our success."
In the win over Barron Collier, Vaso put up a game and career-high 20 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Against First Baptist Academy, he added seven points, dished out three assists and had two rebounds.
Way to go, Vaso!
