Artist Spotlight: 'Bugz' First Grade Performance

After a two-year hiatus, Lower School musical performances are back and better than ever. First grade kicked off the spring musical season with their 'Bugz!' performance in the PAC.
"We were so excited to return to the stage," said Lower School music teacher Cathy Truesdale. "These first-grade students performed in Pre-K4 to get acquainted with being on stage, but did not have lines or stage movement. They did a great job of learning how to navigate reading a script, following cues, memorizing dialogue and songs, and finding their way around the stage."

Students had the opportunity to request parts they might like to have before Mrs. Truesdale cast the show. A special appreciation to the teachers (Mrs. Fancer, Ms. Pollock, and Mrs. Messino) and families who were all instrumental in helping with lines and songs to make the performance a success.

Many of the students have caught the "acting bug" and will certainly be seen on the stage in years to come!
