Canterbury Students Shine at State Science Fair
Congratulations to our students for an incredible performance at the 67th annual State Science and Engineering Fair (SSEF) of Florida, which concluded Thursday, March 31, with the Grand Awards Ceremony in Lakeland.
Our winners include:
Lara K. ’23 - Best in Fair, First Place - Senior Division: Biomedical and Health Sciences, Special Award
Morgan B. ’23 - Second Place - Senior Division: Earth and Environmental Sciences
Michelle B. ’23 - Fourth Place - Senior Division: Cellular/Molecular Biology and Biochemistry
Maya C. ’22 - Recognition Award for MACO
Upper School Science Teacher Kati Morris shared, “Our students joined over 800 other entries from across our state, to be interviewed over one long day by many of the more than 250 judges on hand. They all did wonderfully. And Lara was named one of eight Best in Fair projects for the whole state!”
