Athlete of the Week: May 2, 2022
Congratulations to runner Gabby S. '23 on being selected as our Athlete of the Week for the week of May 2, 2022.
Gabby punched her ticket to the the FHSAA 1A Track and Field State Championships for the second consecutive year after finishing the 3200m with a qualifying time of 11:36 at the 1A Region 3 meet at CSN.
"Gabby continues to improve her time each year and I'm so proud of how she continues to push herself," said track and field coach Charlotte Edwards. " As a team leader, she sets the example of true dedication and hard work."
STATE CHAMPIONSHIP UPDATE: Gabby hit the track at the University of Florida on Wednesday for the 3200m finals. She finished 9th overall at the 1A State Championships. Congratulations to Gabby on a great season!
