Upper School Band Named 'Best Overall Band' at Music in the Parks

The Canterbury Upper School band swept the Music in the Parks competition held at Universal Studios May 13-14 in Orlando.
The Cougar band was named 'Best Overall Band', while the wind ensemble and jazz band both brought home first place honors in their respective divisions. Additionally, senior Daniel Z. '22 was named 'Best Jazz Soloist'. 

"I am very proud of the students and all of their hard work and dedication this school year," said band director Zachary Deeter. "They did an exceptional job not only performing, but also representing Canterbury first class throughout the entire trip."
