Athlete of the Week: September 12-18, 2022
Congratulations to varsity football player Alex C. '23 on being selected as our Athlete of the Week for the week of September 12-18, 2022.
The senior quarterback has guided the Cougars to a 5-0 start, including a 42-21 win over St. Stephen's Episcopal School in the pouring rain last Fright night at FineMark Field. He rushed for two touchdowns on the night, one for 23 yards and the other for 57 yards.
"Alex has put in so much work on and off the field, and it's paying off," said head football coach Stacy Sizemore. "He continues to guide the team in the right direction. His leadership will be extremely beneficial as we get into the heart of our schedule."
The varsity Cougar football team will be back at home on Friday, October 7 against Community School of Naples. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. Click here for the complete football schedule.
