Athletic Holiday Round-Up

While most students were winding down for the holiday break, our winter athletes were still hard at work on the court, field, and mats representing Canterbury with pride.
Here are some student-athletes that shined in the weeks leading up to and during the holiday break.

Boys Basketball
Leroy R. '24
In games against Southwest Florida Christian Academy (12/6), Barron Collier High School (12/8), and King High School (12/10) leading up to the holiday break, Leroy put up 41 points, grabbed 23 rebounds, and dished out 19 assists for the Cougars.

Brisun H. ‘26
Brisun led all Cougar scorers at the prestigious City of Palms Classic over the break. In three games, Brisun notched 41 points and 11 rebounds against some of the country’s top high school programs, including No. 3 Paul VI out of Virginia.

Girls Basketball
Kaya L. '25
Kaya has been instrumental in the girls basketball early successes, helping lead the Cougars to a 6-3 start on the season. Leading up to the holiday break, Kaya averaged 14 points and four rebounds on the week.

Girls Soccer
