Athlete of the Week: January 9-15, 2023
Congratulations to varsity soccer player Mackenzie M. '26 on being selected as our Athlete of the Week for the week of January 9-15, 2023.
The freshman forward has made a splash in her first year with the Cougars and has been a big contributor on the offensive attack. On senior night last Tuesday, Mackenzie helped lead Canterbury to a 7-0 win over Southwest Florida Christian Academy, netting two goals in the win.
"Mackenzie was our most consistent player over the past week. She looked dangerous and was always a threat to our opponents," said head soccer coach Paolo Acosta. "She made several key passes and several successful take-ons... we look forward to her continuing her strong play as we enter the final stretch of our regular season and head into the district tournament."
