Lucas Match $13.3 Million Raised, 162 Days to Go!

Ending June 30, 2023, we are 95 percent of the way to meeting our goal!!  

Thanks to our many generous donors, the Lucas Match has raised more than $13.3 million to reduce the school's debt from the cost to build our incredible upper school building and to create endowed funds for our faculty and students!
A special thanks to the Manuelidis Family (Upper School Dean of Students Office and Upper School Entrance Courtyard), Maheswari Family (Upper School Administration Lobby), and the Chicone Family (Middle School Alumni Office) who have generously given to name offices where our outstanding administration and staff help oversee our students' learning every day!

As the mother of two Canterbury Lifers, Alice has seen the impact Canterbury has on her daughters, Melina ’21 and Chloe ’23. When asked why she and her husband Laertes support Canterbury and the Lucas Match, Alice said, “It takes a village of great teachers to help raise successful kids. And our village is Canterbury School.”

The Lucas Match will end on June 30, 2023, but it's not too late! Please help us meet our goal and raise the remaining $700,000 of matching dollars from the $7 million Lucas Match Challenge.
