Lower School Students Rock Hour of Code

Canterbury's three-day Hour of Code event wrapped up on Friday, March 3 in the Performing Arts Center. Grades Kindergarten through fourth grade showcased their coding skills, showing their parents all they have learned in technology class since the start of the 2022-23 school year.
This year's Hour of Code included seven different coding stations. Each station was filled with interactive learning from block-based coding to prepare our students for real-world coding like JavaScript and Python. 
 
"Technology is integrated into virtually every part of our lives," said Ms. Stephenson, Canterbury's Director of Technology. "It is more important than ever that our students at Canterbury are prepared for the future."
