Athlete of the Week: February 27- March 5, 2023
Congratulations to beach volleyball player Kali Y. '26 on being selected as our Athlete of the Week for the week of February 27- March 5, 2023.
In her beach volleyball debut, Kali helped lead Canterbury's first-ever beach volleyball team to a win over Mariner High school. The Cougars swept the series, taking four of five matches!
"During the match, Kali was extremely coachable, implementing what coaches and veteran players were advising her to do," said head coach Katie Coverdale. "She helped win with power, finesse, and excellent game IQ."
Kali and the beach volleyball team will be back in action on Monday, March 13 against Ida Baker High School. First serves will begin at 4 p.m. Click here for a schedule of upcoming matches.
