Athlete of the Week: April 10-16, 2023
Congratulations to track and field athlete Collin M. '25 on being selected as our Athlete of the Week for the week of April 10-16, 2023.
The sophomore high jumper was crowned the Private 8 Champion last Friday, April 14, at the Private 8 Championships at Evangelical Christian School, with a personal-best jump of 1.72 meters. With the win, Collin contributed 10 points to the boys team overall score.
"We are so proud of Collin and his growth this season," said track and field head coach Charlotte Edwards. "He has been working closing with Coach Booth all season to continue to improve and reach new heights... and it has paid off."
Collin and the rest of the Cougar track and field team will now compete at the 1A District meet on Friday, April 21 at Evangelical Christian School.
