Canterbury Track & Field Athletes Move onto Regionals
The Canterbury Track and Field squad had a strong showing at the 1A District Meet on Friday, April 21, hosted by Evangelical Christian School. The squad clinched 17 total spots to advance to the regional meet on May 6.
The girls team claimed 10 advancement spots, while the boys notched seven spots. In total, there were 15 personal-best performances and a school record in the girls 4x100 relay. Joslyne D. '26 was the highlight of the meet for the Cougars, racing and jumping to THREE first-place finishes in the 100m hurdles, 200m, and long jump! The freshman also anchored the 4x100 team to a second-place finish.
